When you think about romance, Bollywood cinema has been the purveyor of some of the most romantic movies of all time. Add in the back drop, the costumes and the music and you have before you, some seriously romantic Bollywood movies.

But there are so many of them! So how do we choose? Well, we actually put it to a vote with a group of South Asian Bloggers and here are the results.

8. Mughal-e-Azam
A movie from the 1960’s, it’s still touted as one of the most romantic Bollywood films of all time. Set in the 16th century, the story is about a prince who falls in love with a court dancer.

This love story is more of a journey of two lovers, whose paths keep intersecting at different times in their lives for a heart-warming love story.

A as romantic comedy, this Bollywood film tells the story of a kind-of depressed business man whose life changes when he meets a spunky women who is on her way to meet the love of her life.

The story of two star-crossed lovers whose love may not be simple, but it knows no boundaries.
